From first steps to first-grade readiness, our age-appropriate programs meet children exactly where they are — and gently guide them forward.
6 weeks – 18 months
Gentle, responsive care built around your baby's rhythm. Feeding, diapering, tummy time, and sensory play — all delivered with the patience and warmth infants need to build secure attachment and trust.
18 months – 3 years
Curiosity is the curriculum. Toddlers explore, experiment, and discover through hands-on activities that build language, motor skills, and the beginning of social confidence — all in a nurturing home setting.
3 – 5 years
Building the foundation for school success and beyond. Our pre-K program blends early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning through play-based activities that make learning feel like adventure.
5 – 12 years
Before and after school care that keeps kids engaged, active, and safe. Homework help, outdoor play, creative projects, and unstructured time — all in a supportive environment where older children can relax and be themselves.

Every activity is purposeful. Whether it's building with blocks, painting, or playing pretend, children develop critical cognitive and social skills through guided play.
Our outdoor space is an essential classroom. Children dig in the garden, ride tricycles, explore seasons, and develop gross motor skills in a safe, fenced yard.
We communicate openly and often. Daily reports, weekly check-ins, and an open-door policy ensure parents are true partners in their child's development.
Every child — regardless of background, ability, or temperament — is welcomed and valued. We celebrate differences and teach empathy from day one.
Here's what a typical day looks like at Shannon's — balanced, purposeful, and full of moments that matter.
Children arrive, greet Shannon and each other, and choose from a variety of open-ended activities — puzzles, books, blocks, or pretend play. A calm start sets the tone for the day.
We gather for songs, a brief discussion about the day's theme, and a healthy snack. This is where language, counting, and social skills come alive through routine.
Rotating stations — literacy corner, math manipulatives, art table, sensory bin, and dramatic play — let children follow their interests while building key skills.
Fresh air and movement. Whether it's a garden walk, bike riding, ball games, or free play in our fenced yard, outdoor time is non-negotiable.
A nutritious lunch followed by rest or quiet activities. Infants nap in cribs; older children enjoy story time or drawing while their bodies recharge.
After rest, the afternoon brings creative projects, music and movement, science experiments, or special themes — always tailored to the children's energy and interests.
Afternoon snack, then school-age children enjoy homework help, free play, or structured group activities while waiting for pickup.
Shannon shares highlights from the day, children pack up, and families connect. Every goodbye is as important as every hello.
